Dr. Julie Snodgrass grew up outside of Kirkwood, Illinois, and joined Geneseo Veterinary Service in 2023. She attended Iowa State University, where she earned her bachelors in Genetics in 2014, and met her husband Lance. She then attended University of Illinois for veterinary school, graduating in 2018. Dr. Julie has practiced in food animal and small animal settings, and has interests in soft tissue surgery, preventive care, and low-stress handling for any species. She and her husband have one daughter and two sons. They also share their home with a cat named Josey, an Australian shepherd named Brandy, and a “vet school mutt” named Tig. Dr. Julie enjoys music, hanging out with her family, and a variety of outdoor hobbies.
